On Thursday night, Ryan got a last minute text from a friend telling him that Zane Lowe was about to play his first single from the new EP of the same name - FOCUS. Ryan didn’t know this was going to happen. Ed Sheeran and publicists had put in a good word for him, and lo-and-behold, it happened.

On Wednesday, Lee (Ryan’s drummer), turned 25.

So on Friday we celebrated both with a house party at Lee’s place. I turned up with a bottle of rum, some champagne and a few bottles of coke. I got introduced to a ton of people I hadn’t met before, some familiars like Lily McKenzie, some of my own were there and we all went a bit crazy. It was a good night either way. The journey home was a bit messy as I was going on lots of buses and transfers. I don’t really feel like the journey home balanced out but I was obnoxiously drunk which I regret. Don’t mix alcohol guys.
